
Day 1: Arrival
Met on arrival at Dar Es Salaam airport met by our guide and depart for Mikumi National Park for dinner and overnight at Vuma Hills Tented Lodge. Game viewing late afternoon. (today is flexible depending on arrival details, we may have to send the first night i Dar Es Salaam). Accommodation: Vuma Hills Tented Lodge
Day 2: Mikumi to Ruaha
Early this morning we will be game viewing in Mikumi before departing with picnic lunch, for Ruaha National Park, game viewing in the afternoon en route to the Our campsite for dinner and overnight. We will be fly camping Using Eastcos Standard Camp. Accommodation: Budget camping
Day 3-4: Ruaha National Park
Full days exploring the Ruaha National Park, either with picnic lunch or early morning and late afternoon game drives and lunch in the camp, is this flexibility that makes Camping the perfect base for game viewing. Dinners and overnights within Eastcos Standard camp. Accommodation: Budget camping
Day 5: Ruaha to Udzungwa
After breakfast, we depart for the Udzungwa Mountains National Park with a picnic lunch. Our drive takes us across an impressive array of landscapes with basket-weavers and other local craftsmen to be found by the side of the road. Dinner and overnight is at our Standard campsite under the canopy of the Udzungwa Mountains rainforest. Accommodation: Budget camping
Day 6-7: Udzungwa National Park
These days are spent walking in the Udzungwa Mountains with its jagged mountain-scapes and waterfalls. Highlights might include sighting the rare endemic Iringa Red Colobus monkey, tracking one of the rare bird species that were only recently discovered and listing the incredible variety of orchids and plants found in the rainforest. Dinners and overnights within our mobile camp. Accommodation: Budget camping
Day 8: Udzungwa to Selous
After breakfast break camp and head towards the Selous Game Reserve with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manze Tented Camp.
Selous Game Reserve
The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest areas set aside for wildlife preservation anywhere in the world, covering approximately 50,000 sq kms. Located around the Rufiji river system, the Selous is a vast area of miombo woodland, swamps, lakes, gorges and plains. Being of such a vast size it is impossible to predict where the wildlife will be at any one time, but the wilderness experience is exceptional. Accommodation: Lake Manze Tented Camp
Day 9-10: Selous

Day 11: Selous to Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast this morning we depart for Dar Es Salaam with picnic lunch, game viewing in selous en route, for mid afternoon arrival at Peacock Hotel for overnight on b&b basis. Time to say a sad goodbye to the guide and new found friend as we mark the end off our southern circuit safari.
Day 12: Departure
Today we transfer to airport for international flight.
